John A. Brown plans to earn voters’ recognition as “Brown Delivers.” This is the credo that motivates John Anthony Brown and his special management expertise for a community on the verge of a vital new era in its history. As a true Residents’ Advocate©, John Anthony Brown knows that the actions taken by the Township board affect every man, woman, and child in The Woodlands. Brown says. ”When I serve on The Woodlands Township board, I will deliver with the renewed vitality demanded to successfully process the solutions required for today, and initiate the planning that will uncover and manage the challenges of tomorrow.”
“Huntsman Corporation, the company I am proud to represent in my work as Facilities Supervisor, states that our mission is: Enriching lives through innovation. I will carry this same motivation to enrich the lives of my neighbors in The Woodlands.” John Anthony Brown shares residents’ concerns about our future governance, family values, public safety, taxes, and our daily quality of life. “We must maintain and protect The Woodlands through smart governance and without tax increases”, he says. “Our trees are our most precious physical assets, not the brick and steel boxes becoming all-too-common on our landscape. If the Township can create The City of The Woodlands with efficient and sensible management processes, we can control our own destiny without subservience or intrusion from the county, developers, and other special interests.”
At 43 years of age, John Brown has been married to Bonnie since 2006. They have an 8-year-old daughter named Madison and a stepson named Ryan, 23. Brown graduated with honors from The Art Institute of Philadelphia while obtaining his Associates Degree of Science in Web Development and is soon to complete his advanced studies and graduate from BYU-Idaho with a Bachelor’s degree in Web Design.
His experience in contract management and negotiations has been successfully applied to Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia; University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston and achieved a savings of more than five million dollars at Huntsman International. He has served on the Alden Bridge Village Association Board for more than 5 years and was nominated as Volunteer of the Year for Alden Bridge in 2015. Today, John Anthony Brown volunteers to serve as an unpaid Residents’ Advocate© on the Township Board with an active voice that will reflect resident concerns. Position 3 deserves a voice that matters and a voice that cares. John Anthony Brown will be a Township Director who Delivers!
